Wedding Photography Tip: Get a Grand Venue to Match Your Grand Event

Are you having a big wedding? Make sure you get a venue where all your guests can fit and celebrate comfortably, especially if you’re having a traditional Asian wedding. Aside from practicality, the flare of your wedding location can also make the event more majestic and memorable. What’s more, the scenic surroundings, the sophisticated façade, and the opulent interiors of your venue will definitely heighten the impact of your wedding photography shots.

Premier wedding venues in the U.K. have big marquee or drinks reception areas that can hold hundreds of guests. The Bristol Post featured one such venue in Clevedon:

STUNNING new pictures reveal for the first time the luxurious £3 million revamp of Clevedon Hall. The Victorian mansion is ready to be reopened in November after its makeover, which has taken nearly four years to complete.

The mansion and its 25 new bedrooms will be officially opened on Thursday, November 27.

Clevedon Hall is preparing to position itself as one of the top exclusive venues in the area for weddings, private parties, and conferences.

The venue can cater for up to 150 during the day and 250 in the evening, allowing it to be used for everything from weddings to conferences.

Aside from Clevedon Hall, other wedding venues are already open for large gatherings. How about the Art Deco-themed Eltham Palace, which can hold up to 200 people for dining? The UnderGlobe, which is part of the Swan at The Globe, can hold up to 450 (or 300 for the ceremony).

For even bigger celebrations, try booking the Butterley Grange Mansion in Derbyshire, which can accommodate 600 guests for a marquee reception (with a huge bridal suite furnished with an 8-foot emperor-size bed to boot) or the Natural History Museum’s Central Hall, a cathedral-like setting that can seat up to 650 guests. To suit a more extravagant and eccentric taste, you also have a wide selection of atmospheric castles like the 11th century Ludlow Castle in Shropshire.

Companies like Pixcellence Photography specialise in Asian wedding photography in London and other parts of the U.K., which make them an excellent choice for big festivities and banquets. No matter how grand the place or the celebration is, these professional photographers will use their expertise to chronicle your big day and create stunning wedding photos that make the most of your venue.
